Company Policy

Barkin Beauties L.L.C offers mobile pet grooming by appointment only.  We will attempt to provide our customers with accurate grooming prices over the telephone.  Please understand that a firm price quote can only be given upon arrival so we can inspect the overall condition of your pet. 

Cancellation Policy
Please notify us within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment time if you need to cancel your appointment. We are sympathetic to our valued customers that need to cancel their scheduled appointments due to unexpected emergencies.  Barkin' Beauties performs grooming services to a restricted number of pets per day. If you cancel, it is unlikely that we will be able to replace your spot for that day.  A service charge of $25.00 will be charged for all appointments canceled without 24 hour notice.  We appreciate your consideration and understanding.

No Show Policy:
In the event that we arrive at your home for an appointment and no one is available a service charge of $25.00 will be invoiced to cover gas and expenses. We will remain at the location for 10 minutes prior to us having to go to our next appointment.  The invoice needs to be paid prior to a new appointment being rescheduled.  Please understand that if you have more than one no show we will be unable to reschedule future appointments.

Vaccination Policy:

Safety of your pet and groomer are of the utmost importance.  All required vaccinations must be up to date.  The owner must have documentation available for inspection.  If documentation is not available the owner will grant permission to Barkin' Beauties to contact the pets veterinarian for vaccination verification.  If the owner is unable to furnish either of these methods, Barkin' Beauties L.L.C reserves the right to refuse your pet for grooming. 

Matted Pets:
We will not de-matt any pet that is more than 25% matted.  We understand that owners enjoy their pets with hair and/or fur consistsant with the breed specification however this can only be achieved with at home brushing and a consistent grooming schedule.  De-matting is stressful and painful. We will restrict de-matting to a total of 15min. We will not continue any de-matting process that exhibits pain or discomfort to the pet.  The grooming process will revert to a shave down or a start over.  You will be asked to sign a release form prior to a shave down or a dematting procedure.  In some cases severely matted pets have to be referred to a veterinarian for proper handling.  Upon arrival if it is determined that we are unable to effectively groom your pet due to matting conditions the owner will be responsible for a trip charge of 50% of the total invoice.

Fleas/Ticks/ Parasites/Skin Conditions:
For health and safety reasons we are unable to accept any pet infested with fleas or parasites for grooming.  It is the owners responsibility to ensure that their pet is clear from these issues.  We cannot contaminate our vehicle and place other pets at risk.  There are many products on the market to assist in the control of these issues.  Any pet found to be infested with fleas, excessive ticks, and or parasites during the grooming process will have an additional charge of $75.00 imposed to decontaminate the vehicle prior to our next appointment. 

Aggressive Behavior:
Additional charges may apply for pets that have behavior issues.  Any pet that shows signs of aggression and non-prompted biting will not be groomed.  If this occurs during the grooming process, the pet will be returned to the owner and pro-rated charges will apply.

Payment Policy:
Barkin' Beauties L.L.C accepts Cash and Personal Checks.  Payment is due upon completion of the grooming process.    
A $30.00 fee will be imposed for all checks returned NSF.  Many customers ask if it is OK to tip the groomer. This is totally up to you.  Tips are greatly appreciated for outstanding service however all of our customers and pets are treated equally regardless.

Permission to enter property and to seek emergency veterinary care:
Many of our customers enjoy the convenience of not having to be home or even leaving so their pets can enjoy their grooming process.  This allows our customers unrestricted freedom to go on with their day.  In the event you allow Barkin' Beauties L.L.C, and it's groomers access to your home, garage or yard.  We will secure the premises the best way we can based on your instructions.   Barkin' Beauties L.LC will not be held responsible and held harmless for any damage, loss,  theft, or injury that might occur as a result of this agreement.  A separate signature is required for this service.  In the event of an accident or medical emergency the owner agrees to authorize Barkin' Beauties L.L.C and it's groomers permission to provide such treatment solely at the owners expense.  The pet will be transported to your veterinarian.  In the event your veterinarian is not available, you authorize Barkin' Beauties L.L.C to provide treatment at the veterinarian of their choice at the owners expense.  We will not be held liable for any expenses incurred.
