Q. What are your hours?A. We offer flexible appointment options. All telephone calls received will be returned the same business day.
Q. How much to you charge to come to my home?
A. The cost to groom a dog varies. It depends on the breed, size, style, and condition of the dog. We will try to provide an accurate estimate based on the information you've given over the telephone.
Q. What Areas do you service?
A. Brick, Point Pleasant Boro/Beach, Bay Head, Mantaloking, Lavalette, Lakewood, Manasquan, Brielle, Sea Girt, Spring Lake/Hights.
Q. How long does the grooming process take?
A. Hair cuts take approximately 1 - 1 1/2 hours. Bath Only dogs take anywhere between 30 min - 1 hour depending on size and coat. We do not rush!! We choose to take our time to provide your pet with the best possible experience.
Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. Barkin' Beauties gladly accepts Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Check Cards.
Q. What kinds of shampoos do you use?
A. We proudly utilize hypoallergenic and biodegradable shampoos. We also utilize all natural flea shampoos if the need arises.
Q. Do you sedate the dog for grooming?
A. ABSOLUTLY NOT!!! we have found that most pets that require sedation for the grooming process in a free standing salon, tend to be more relaxed in a mobile grooming setting thus not needing sedation at all.
Q. Do you utilize crates in your grooming van?
A. No, we provide personalized one on one attention at all times to your pet.
Q. Do you groom senior pets?
A. Barkin Beauties will groom your pet providing he/she is 12 years of age younger. Older dogs tend to have difficulty standing for extended periods of time and have less tolerance for the drying process.
Q. What is the recommended grooming schedule for a dog?
A. This depends on the specific breed. Most dogs are groomed on a 3-6 week schedule. This routine will ensure a clean well groomed pet.
Q. Do you offer gift certificates?
A. YES..gift certificates make a great gift for a loving pet owner.
